Pitstopboss News Update – 25th Jan 2010

This game update addresses a few minor issues. (Although you may feel they are major issues if they affected you personally!)

Without further ado, I’ll get to the point:

* Fixed a bug (again) that stopped you selling items even though you had them for donkeys years.
* Made some adjustments to the game engine with regard to wet weather (it was too easy to run at full pace)
* Made a slight speed optimization for some pages.
* Fixed some errors reported in the server logs (needed to do this to stop the file getting too big).
* Made some adjustments to the races such that the range of optimum setups isn’t so narrow (this has caused a few walkovers recently).
* I’d rather be working on the game than talking about forum and chat etiquette or rules & regulations or law & order, so supportboss will be contacting everyone soon about chat and forum conduct. :-)

* MAJOR NOTE * some races that are 0-99 or 0-499 will need to be converted to the 0-999 format soon, so that everything is conforming to a standard.

Now that I look at the list, it doesn’t seem like I did much of a day’s work!! But I assure you I did!
Although in my defence, I was kept on the phone for ages by a Dell technician (yup, my laptop keys have started spontaneously snap off [actually i think they have part-melted] – so I’ve had to get a replacement sorted)

Anyway, enough about that, and if you haven’t already…. Join the Pyramid League Test!!! only *only* 40 odd slots remaining :-)
