Hello and welcome to a new update.

This mainly addresses two areas:

-    Competitions will now allow free removal of your driver in the first round if he has made no runs.
-    For alliance races, it will only work if you are the sole entrant for your alliance.


-    To curb farming and tactical exploits with sales, the following restrictions are put in place.

-    Dealerships can no longer close until they have either sold all items or 15 days have passed.
-    It will be no longer possible to sell any item at the same time as buying a new version of it.
eg. you cannot put your chassis on sale and then buy a new chassis expecting the old one to be automatically sold if there are bidders.


A future update will allow you more freedom to develop your next item whilst the current one is active (chassis,engine etc.) and move away from dealerships.
So that when the current contract runs out, you can step into your new contract of your pre-developed item.

A bit like in Formula One where they develop ‘next seasons car’ and you will decide how much resources to devote to this.



Finally,

There has been a lot of discussion about logging in for a friend to perhaps do their runs.
It is acceptable to do this but we would warn you that this is completely at your own risk.

Use of multiple accounts for farming and exploiting will result in them being limited or banned at our discretion.

Welcome to the post Grand Prix Update.

Just a few things updated today and a few internal issues sorted out.

- Fixed a small bug in the player search.

- Fixed a bug with Expert Analysis not taking into account all track favourites.

- Fixed an issue with some sponsors requiring a very high setup.

- Added a few more items to the transfer market.

- Slight update to Pyramid League racing form points.

- Minor bugfixes.

 

 

In the pipeline:

- Better league system

- Better track temperature system that will affect tyre heating.

Pitstopboss – F1 Game Update News

Hello and welcome to a minor update.

Today’s pre-Turkish Grand Prix updates are:



- Fixed a few issues with track favourites (tyres were erroneously suggesting a 3rd track that was not accounted for).

- Fixed a small bug with track bonuses

- Fixed Alliance tables so that gains and losses in points and position are shown.

- Fixed a few display issues with new tyre charts.

- Fixed a bug that gave a few runners 0.000 lap times

- Adjusted game engine due to some irregularities with setup vs reported setup.


Adjustments to game engine will take until next round to fully update.

If there are any issues, please let me know via feedback or message me in the game.

Welcome to the latest update!

Web Traffic will be a bit slow tonight as the database goes through some much needed pruning and rebuilding.

As for game updates, here is a list of some recent changes:

- Slightly adjusted resolution and images for tyre temperature charts.
- Fixed a few display issues with the race replay monitor.
- Fixed a bug that removed some race commentary.
- Fixed a display issue with Alliance history.
- Fixed some pace adjustment loopholes.
- Updated game so that next round all races use the slightly newer setup code that will continue to result in closer racing.
- Some minor & cosmetic bugfixes.



Like always, there may be a few gremlins in the fueltank after this update has fully completed

Pitstopboss Alliance News

Hello,

Please note that Alliances are going to 4-player groupings from next week, so now is the best time to start
reshuffling teams around (especially while startup costs are reduced this month).

- You can remove drivers from Alliance races without penalties for the next week, to help with any reshuffling.
- You can link up to 4 alliance chatrooms now (Alliance leaders look in the Invite section).
- You can hand over leadership to another supporter member (look in the Alter Details section).
- You will not be able to enter any more Alliance races if you have more than 4 members from today.
- The max Alliance races per Alliance is 4 at a time (increased by 1 for each member less than 4 in the team).

Also, if you are not in an Alliance, now might be a good time to join one or set one up with some fellow managers.
As you can now link up alliance chat, you can still interact with your old friends in a combined alliance chat room.

Welcome to another edition of the game update news.

A few adjustments this week, plus a few updates in the pipeline


Firstly, some alliance information:

- Alliances will be restricted to 4-manager teams from May 1st. (if you still are in a 8-team squad at that point you may suffer restricted ability to run).

- Alliance form points are slightly raised by around 50%. (although this may be as high as 100% for a day until things equalize).

- For the rest of this month, you can set up an Alliance for a minimal fee and also the cost of a new Alliance livery is reduce by 50% until May 1st.


Competition Information:

- 2 and 3-day competitions now have increased form points, keeping them in-line and slightly above 1-day competition form points.

- 2 and 3-day competitions now have scaled prize structures to keep them inline with their 1-day counterparts.

- race competitions will also have similairly scaled prize and form points structures.



With all updates, changes may take up until the next round to be seen and there may be the odd glitch, but let me know and any issues will be dealt with swiftly.

After a fairly exciting Chinese Grand Prix, we have a slightly lower key update today.

Updates for today include:


-    Improvements to Alliance Form Points and some harder ccompetitions
-    Fixed some bugs with Alliance chat-linking.
-    Adjustments to bidding process to curb last minute removals of bids and false price inflations.
-    Fixed a few minor bugs with Academy helpers.
-    Fixed a loophole for excessive pace with chance of mistakes.
-    Minor bugfixes.

Hello,



Welcome to the Pre- Chinese Grand Prix Update

A small step perhaps, in terms of updates today.

- There is a slight adjustment to the setup code so that if some areas of setup are far out, you may be more likeley to get hints on those areas.

- Another adjustment sees a slight levelling off of setup weighting the closer you get to optimum, which should effectively bunch some of the field up a bit and curtail some extreme setups. (this will be effective from the next round)


- In anticipation of smaller, leaner alliances.. I am looking for some allainces to test out the new alliance chat-link system (activate it on your alliance invite page please – all alliance owners) So you can all stay in touch.

Both alliances need to agree before the alliance chat is linked and you can link up to 4 alliances.

Welcome to the latest news!


It’s been a while, but things are back in business in the motorhome!

There are quite a few things that need adjusting and fixing, that much is clear.
I will be keeping you up to date in the game messages and the forums as well as on the blog.

Today’s update sees a few structural changes taking place and some minor bugfixes.

- Fixed problem cancelling a contract with 0 extensions.
– Most practice races now have 100% track rubber.
– Most acadamies are closing and they are beign replaced with one or two main acadamies.
– Fixed messaging so that messages sent to me go to my mailbox like feedback, so I can answer messages quickly.
– Removed emphasis from races as a small part of the process to clamp down on setup exploits.



In the future:



- I’ll be adding CPU drivers into the mix, to ensure that races all start promptly.
– There will be a few more tests some new anti-exploit code.
– New structure for alliances which may possibly include a league system
– Revamp of the Ama and Pro class.
– A fresh look at contracts and possibly monthly credit top-ups.

Hello,



Today’s update makes a few adjustments and fixes to the following:

1. Lessened the weight and difficulty of individual setup sliders, which has seen some larger time gaps appear in the standings.
2. All Alliances will be using the new rules for amount of runs (6 per person in Professional and 7 per person in Amateur).
3. Fixed the issue where alliance objectives have not been marked completed.
4. As a reminder that all driver setup optimums are refined on the first run, a message will appear indicating so.

Some of the setup changes will take place from the next round.
