Latest Update News:
- The Track Test days competition hasn’t been giving the double experience points… This has been fixed and I will restart the comeptition again.
- The pyramid league hasn’t reverted to 1 day a round as required, so this should now take place for the next round.
- Penalties for running out of contract drivers is to be doubled to 2000cr in line with the racing bonus increase.
- The generous racing bonus of 6000cr is to be slightly rebalanced, giving the full amount for pro alliance racing and slightly less for other competitions.
- A new slimmer horizontal navigation bar is available for testing.
- A few adjustments to how pace and grip affects the lap time have been transferred from the development tests to the main game.
- A Sprint Cup is to be reintroduced for those who want to use those drivers with only a few days left on contract
Race Testing:
A number of changes to the overall balancing of the race engine to be able to cope with a variety of stops and pitlane lengths adequately.
I’ve been running hundreds of race distances to try and get this going in the right direction, where a few fairly easy tweaks can adjust characteristics of the tracks,
compared to the Einstein-like stuff I was attempting before.
There were some bugs with looking at previous results and tyre data due to the fact we’ve been racing on the same track every round at present.
This will change as i am going to put through a selection of varied tracks in the next text session from today.
(Spa, Valencia, Canada, Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Monza, Barcelona)
Put together a selection of tracks that should test your tactical abilities from 1 stoppers to 3 stoppers and will be interested in the results.
Fixed quite a few small bugs regarding the race and tactics selection, such as the loading and saving of race strategy.
Put back the race refresh to the replay section.
Added more information about fuel tank size on the race strategy page.
I’ll also be putting in a toggle for those that want the graphic replay system, but after some modifications are made to it.

Another update today with a few fixes to fix the previous fixes, as well as some new fixes.
Alliance setup difficulty has been moved up a few notches as the current system is allowing for far too many 99% setups and is destroying the essence of how the competitions should run and turning it into a situation of “who has spent the most on car parts is the winner”.
This will currently affect all Profesional level Alliance competitions with a view of possibly extending it Amatuer.
General Issues:
- Incorrect warnings when purchasing any new equipment has been fixed for novices.
- Fixed some competitions where some positions were giving incorrect points at end of session.
- Fixed a bug that put some Firestarter tyres on the market with wrong stats.
- Fixed a few issues with wet tyres usage on dry tracks and vice versa.
- Added a system to restructure the League Competition so that we have less part-filled leagues.
Pyramid League:
- League will be single day rounds from now on.
- At end of each season, all leagues will be adjusted so that they are as full as possible.
- Entry to league restricted to level 3 and above.
Race Test
- Adjustment of tyre wear vs pace algorithm means that the relationship is more defined.
- We are to continue the race testing without the overtaking/holdup code active for a few more rounds.
A new Track Day Series is to be tested out for those that want to get an experience boost for their drivers.
There is no prize and it will not affect your Racing Form and also currently you get a double experience boost.

Latest updates:
A few financial balances first.
- Adjusted the prize team bonus for completing all runs to a whopping 6000cr (3 times more that before)
- Reduced the renewal fees for all contracts by approximately 50%
- Added a 15,000cr mr nice guy bonus to all players. “to get that driver you’ve always wanted…” (etc.)
Now for some more adjustments.
- Expert Analysis is no longer limited for supporters.
- Made some adjustments to the tyre stats of Fire’s, Mich’s as part of the tracking & rebalancing program mentioned in an earlier update.
- Adjusted the stats for tyre choice in Monaco in very hot conditions (as it was wrong).
- Adjustment made to the effect of rain on setups. eg. tyre pressures will be higher rather than lower.
Now mainly for the race test.
The current race tests will be reset after this round and I will be reinstating the code that deals with cars overtaking and being held up.
- Added the beginning phase of a race analysis to the Expert Analysis system.
- Made some adjustments to the race replay monitor (lapped cars can now see gaps).
- Added new more data-centric view of the race, that allows more information in a smaller area.
(you will soon get the option to view the race in the more graphcial layout)
- Increased the speed and amount of races that will be updated at once.
Thanks to all the testers so far of the race mode. Your input has been appreciated.
Now some other general news:
- The current update may cause a few problems with the current round lap times. If it does, things will even out by the next round.
- We are making an update to our domain over the weekend. We don’t anticipate any downtime, although there is a slight possibility of a few hours of downtime.

- Fixed a slight bug regarding this above issue.
- Every single minor mistake is now reported in the analysis page (such as running wide at corners or locking up the brakes) . Some very minor ones were not.
- Fixed a bug that forced new players to get an ‘Exceptional Academy Award’ if they joined an Academy.

One of the first things you’ll want to do is to start buying drivers and car parts, here is how it’s done.
Go to Contracts on the Navigation Menu and then choose the item you want to buy.
Let’s say you want a new driver, select Get New Driver.
This will take you to a page with a list of all drivers currently for sale.
Use the dropdown menu to select which driver you want to look at.
Once you have found the driver you want, select the amount of credits you want to bid and then click on Offer Contract.
For some drivers with no bids there’s an option to GET NOW. For others you will have to wait 2 or 3 days for all bids to be made before you discover if you have got the driver.
The process is the same for all team members and car parts.

This update features more on race-related fixes, but has some key adjustments for general structure of competitions.
Race Bugs fixed:
- Fixed a major bug with pitstop time. (negative pitstop delays) that sometimes allowed pitstops of less than second.
- Adjusted pitcrew times, so that there isnt such a huge difference between crews.
- Adjusted race code so that race pace is closer between all racers.
- Getting stuck behind slower cars that are several seconds a lap slower should be less frequent.
- Slight adjustment with ratios of fuel, tyre wear to get a closer simulation to real-life conditions.
- ’Held up behind slower driver’ tactical pitstop will be changed from 5 laps to 3 laps.
- Adjusted laptimes of Zandvoort and Kyalami tracks.
- Fixed problems with the tab key in qualifying page and race tactis page when moving between tactics.
- Adjustment made to some pitcrew stats to balance the abilities and choice.
- Second race test competition to open now we get closer to finish line in testing.
Game Adjustments:
Due to the amount of competitions that take a while to fill up, some adjustments are going to be made to the structure of competitions.
so that we get them filling up faster and you get to use drivers rather have them waiting around for competitions to start.
- You will be able to enter more of the same sort of competition (the limits of 2 at a time will be removed for most competitions).
- Some similair competition types will be closed, to facilitiate this change and drivers in waiting lists moved across or refunded.
- More difficult competitions such as the Veterans races will get a boost in prizes funds as well as a boost in racing form points.
- Alliance races will get a boost in funds.
This phasing out will take a few weeks to complete and will be tackled in stages.
This will hopefully make things a lot easier when it comes to choosing a race to enter and them filling up.

Improve the value and stats of your team by making improvements. Simply select what areas you want to improve and the work happens automatically overnight.
The more improvement slots dedicated to one improvement, the faster the stat will rise. For example if all four slots are being used for Engine, this will improve twice as quickly as when two slots are dedicated to this improvement.
The effect of improvements will not be immediate so do not expect stats to rise daily. You can see how many development points are needed for the next stat increase by hovering your cursor over the stat in question.
Buying a CTO can help speed up improvements. When buying a CTO, look at the “improvements time” stat to see how much.
Improvements do not only work on your car, some also work for the people in your team. For example, choosing ‘engine’ will improve both your car engine stats and your AND driver’s speed stats.
Another example is: Choosing ‘pitstops’ will improve your driver’s communication stat as well as the pitcrew’s communication stat.

A small update today, so without further ado, here it is:
- Fixed a rounding error bug relating to the Equipment Level, which may see some players have their skill level reduced by one point.
- Fixed a bug with some sliders in Alliance races, whereby it was possible to move a slider and have little or no overall effect on the overall setup in some rare cases. (The difficulty adjustment patch mentioned in the last update for alliance racing will be going ahead gradually over the next two to three days).

Another update today, with more of a balancing act theme.
Like the FIA, we’ve had to look at our own “flexi-wing” style issues regarding balancing some aspects of the game. So some things were scrutinised and adjusted to make it a slightly fairer experience.
For Everyone:
- slight adjustment to the importance of drivers stats in game engine to fix a balancing issue.
- driver stats improvement rates will drop off earlier as part of some further overall balancing.
- new dealerships will feature some restrictions as part of a balancing measure to encourage the cycle of development.
(some current dealerships may be cancelled and startup fees refunded at this time).
- fixed an issue with difficulty settings in the alliance races, so the setups are not so easy.
- slightly reduced the effect of track favourites.
- added some new alliance competitions as well as balanced many with a rules update.
- visible warning now apparent when changing chassis, engine or tyres will possibly alter your skill level.
A topic that occasionally is hotly debated is the ability of some players to enter Amateur competitions then deliberately purchasing equipment
that improves the skill level to Professional after the competition is under way. To thwart this exploit, if you purchase equipment that improves
your skill level such that it falls foul of competition entry rules, your drivers will be ejected from the competitions automatically.
This does not affect those who move up a skill level by development methods.
For Race Testers:
- added a race log for the development cup, so you can see more clearly a log of events to speed up debugging.
- fixed several pitstop tyre issues.
- fixed a minor bug with displaying of laptimes and leading zeroes in race replay.
- adjusted some code regarding overtaking attempts.
- added new ‘harder’ mode regarding setups that is less about random but still actually harder.
- slightly more overtaking, however to test the limits of using tyres (and the related bugs), most crashes will be punctures for now.
Most changes will happen by the next race round, if they have not already been active.
